Diane Delin

Diane Delin is a violinist, composer, recording artist and educator. Her jazz work has earned her the Downbeat Magazine’s Critics’ Poll “Rising Star” category four times.  She has also received such comments as: “Her elegance and expertise are always obvious,” from Jazz Times Magazine and “She’s really a fine player with exquisite taste” from Boston’s jazz critic Fred Bouchard. Cadence Magazine comments, “perfect for the museum music-series circuit … (music) most exquisitely realized” and St. Louis’ Sheldon Concert Hall gives her “Standing Ovation!”  More comments include:

Community Outreach and Educational Programs
Delin offers performances with your community or school string orchestra. She also offers working with a local string quartet in presenting Octagon. In addition, she also conducts clinics and master classes for students and educators. She and her groups have presented “informances” for thousands of students of all ages in both urban and rural areas, in residencies and community outreach in conjunction with concerts.
